IT'S 9am Wednesday on the Gold Coast and Gloria Jeans in Burleigh is already busy. Tables of mums, having just dropped their children at the local school, are catching up before their busy day continues.
Burleigh mothers, Camilla Gallagher, 34, Amanda Bowie, 39, and Donna Davidson, 36, catch up for coffee at least twice a week. Mondays and Fridays are the busiest days at the coffee shop, they say. "Going for coffee is a great way to start the day before you have to go home and do the dishes and the floors," Bowie says.
