Copywriter and journalist
Direct from university, I gained my first copywriting job at a large advertising company based in Tokyo, Japan. Writing copy for companies such as Sony and ANA hotels quickly honed my writing skills and was a lot of fun! (So, was ribbing my American colleagues anytime the Ozzies won a swimming medal at the Olympics which we constantly watched on our complimentary Sony Trinitron.)
Japan was followed by journalism and freelance articles for the Courier Mail and travel writing for the Australian.
In between, I have also written copy for user manuals, business marketing campaigns, training manuals, websites and blogs.
These days I'm busily working on all of the above plus writing web building e-books and working with Cheap Websites For You! to help people gain a web presence for a fraction of the cost.
